The Applus+ implementation team successfully rolled out the new vehicle emissions testing program (Georgia’s Clean Air Force) the evening of December 30, 2013, more than one full day ahead of schedule. On New Years’ Eve, we tested over 10,000 vehicles and issued well over 100 waivers with no major issues. This is a tribute to the hard work and extra effort exhibited by the outstanding implementation team.

This is a huge success for Applus+, as it represents our first VID (Vehicle Information Database) solution in the US that provides communication with multiple equipment vendors. It also includes our largest public information campaign, which includes a massive website with automated forms and processes, and our largest call center implementation that responds to motorists, stations, inspectors and the repair industry. These services are in addition to the training, auditing, waiver services we have provided since 1996, and all of which were significantly enhanced in the new program. We look forward to using this tremendous accomplishment as a catapult to future successes.
